In the latter 1800s and early 1900s, the city of Graysville was called Gin Town. Because Graysville has the only cotton gin for miles around, the town and community grew.

Graysville City Hall, Community Center, Library and all City of Graysville Public Works will CLOSE Thursday, December 21 at 4pm. We will also be CLOSED FRIDAY December 22- MONDAY December 25 for the Christmas Holiday. There will be NO GARBAGE PICK UP ON THAT Monday.

We Will also be CLOSED on Monday, January 1, 2018 in observance of New Years Day. There will be NO GARBAGE PICK UP that day.

Our AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY GAS and WATER SERVICE will always be AVAILABLE 24 HRS. A DAY if any problems may arise. (205) 674-5643.
